How to Enter GTA 6 Cheats
While playing (do not pause), input the button combination as shown on the code card. Your inputs must be fast and in the exact order. There will be a quick screen flash when the cheat is activated.
Open the game's console (usually the ~ tilde key) and type the text written on the code card. Press Enter to activate. Some PC cheats can be entered as button combos on gamepads as well.
Make a separate save before activating cheats. You will not be able to earn trophies or achievements for the rest of that session. Keep one save clean to return to after cheating - your actual progress will not be affected.

How do I enter cheat codes in GTA 6?
Cheats are entered live as you play - no menu or pause required. On PS5 and Xbox, press the button combination displayed on each code card (for example, L1, R1, Triangle for PS5 or LB, RB, Y for Xbox). For PC, open the in-game console and type the text code. Do cheat codes work in GTA Online?
No - and this is critical. Cheat codes can only be used in single-player mode. Using exploits or modded cheats in GTA Online will get your account flagged by Rockstar's anti-cheat system. Will using cheats disable my trophies and achievements?
Yes. As soon as you enable any cheat, all trophies (PS5) and achievements (Xbox/PC) are turned off for your current session. The workaround most players use is to save your game manually first. Once you're done cheating, reload your saved game from before you turned the cheats on and you'll be able to earn achievements again. You cannot earn trophies with any save file that has been "spoiled" by enabling cheats, so always keep a backup.
Are cheat codes different on PS5, Xbox, and PC?
PS5 and Xbox controls share the same input commands - they simply use different names for their buttons. Triangle becomes Y, Circle is B, etc. Our website recognizes which platform you've selected and will automatically convert the buttons for you. You'll always see the proper labels for the controller you play with. PC cheats are different - they're typically codes entered into the game's console. Yes, the cheat codes function the same no matter if you purchased GTA 6 digitally or on disc. This is because the codes are built into the game itself. The only time this changes is if your game version is different - if Rockstar removes a cheat in a game update, it will no longer function on updated copies. We do our best to mark these as patched.
What happens when I die with cheats on?
Respawning does not reset your activated cheats. Toggle cheats such as god mode, never wanted, and infinite ammo will remain activated after you respawn. One-use cheats such as restoring health or picking up weapons must be re-entered. If you had god mode on and still died (such as dying during a scripted mission event), simply re-enter the cheat.
