Open GTA 6 Story Mode
Start GTA 6 and load into single-player story mode. GTA Online does not allow cheat codes as they would give the player an unfair advantage.
Make sure you're in gameplay
You need to be able to control your character. You can't enter cheats in a cutscene, pause menu, or loading screen, but walking, driving, or standing still are all fine.
Input the button sequence
Press each of these buttons rapidly in sequence: RIGHT, SQUARE, CROSS, LEFT, R1, R2, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, L1, L1, L1. The game will not wait for you to pause between inputs, so enter the full sequence within a few seconds.
Confirm it worked
A notification appears on screen when a cheat is activated. If it doesn't work, try inputting the code quicker. Some cheats toggle on/off, so re-entering the code will turn them off.
Important Notes
- Enabled cheat codes will turn off achievements and trophies for the current session.
- Remember to save your game before enabling cheats. Loading a save without cheats enabled will turn achievements back on.
- Cheat codes can only be used in GTA 6's single-player mode. Activating them in GTA Online will get you banned.
- Buttons change depending on which platform you choose. Switch between PS5, Xbox, and PC at the top of the page.
